Comments: Hi guys, have just clocked up the 20,000 kilometers on our ATV. So far have been around the edges, up the centre, Oodnadatta Track and Painted Desert and we are still in one piece. Many thanks for the tap fittings you sent us in Darwin. The ones we could not buy anywhere else. Heading to Bamaga at the moment so will see how far we get.
Dave was right about the aluminium steps, we belted them to pieces on the Oodnadatta Track so will have to get the steel ones. Heard you had a great display at the Brisbane show & congratulations are in order. Keep up the good work and will catch you some time.

We would just like to let you know how very impressed we were with both your display and the friendliness of your representatives at the recent Brisbane Caravan Show. We both rated the caravans you had there as exceptional in their design and finish. No other van there even came close! We are currently researching caravans, particularly the 'Off Road' models, as we intend to purchase one in a few years when we retire.
We saw a Kedron van for the first time a few years ago in Darwin, and were impressed by the look even then. As you would be aware, Darwin is very limited in the Caravan sales area, and that was the main reason for going to the Brisbane Show, and later, your factory.
It was a delight to meet Peter at the factory. Even though we told him we were 'researching', he took the time to show us how the Kedron Vans are built from start to finish. He explained everything to us and was able to answer any question we put to him. Please pass on a huge thank you to Peter for us.
The other thing I should mention are your dvds. We purchased both the Kimberley one and the Capy York one and sat on the edge of our seats with our mouths open in amazement (and fright) at where you have taken your vans. We have even had friends around and they also were amazed and very impressed.
Thank you all so much. I am sure that when the time comes for us to order our van, we will see you again.

Congratulations on your outstanding display at the caravan and camping show at the RNA.
I was extremly impressed with the quality of your product.
I checked out a number of makes over 3 days of extensive research at the show with a view to purchasing a van at the end of the year.
In my humble opinion your vans are far and away the best designed, engineered and put together product on the market today.
I look forward to sitting down with you and ordering a van in the near future.

Hello to all the folk at the factory.
We have just returned home to Darwin after a trip down to Kedron to have some minor damage rectified (a tussle with a corrugated road in Kakadu and poorly inflated tyre pressure combination) and some additonal modifications made to the van.
We have an 18 foot ATV and are as pleased as can be with the van. It is solid and well constructed. Inside the van looks like a luxury vehicle, with its appointments and quality materials. As we will be spending 12 to 18 months living in it starting this July, it is important that we feel happy and comfortable in the van, as well as with its travelling capabilities.
We feel part of a Kedron family now, as every time we meet up with another Kedron we always stop and say hello.
Just an idea; as newbies to vanning, it would have been handy to have a "manual" of things to do or avoid doing with the van. The manual would contain reference to such things as ways to tape us ducts to avoid dust ingress; advice on cleaning the external surface; advice on NOT putting tape over internal cupboard surfaces (it rips off the surface); tyre pressure etc.
We do so very much appreciate the unfailing politeness and helpfulness of the guys at Kedron - nothing seems too much to them. Even when I forgot to put down the wind up window in the shower, and it snapped off while we were driving...they just sent a replacement, without even laughing at me!

Hi remember me from Bribie Island. Wayne and I now live at Woodford. We dream of the day we can afford a Kedron van, so for now have just a camper van. I love the videos and still have the Cape York one to get, will pick it up at the van show. A nice touch for your website would be to have Matt James music play when you open up your website. bit of an aussie touch . . . regards to you all . . . Lynn

Thanks Lynn, more of Matt's music on the web site, good idea, if you are interested you can find out more about Matt on his web site at www.mattjames.com.au

Barry, boys and staff.
Just a short note to let you know that my wife, Carol and I have just completed our first big trip in our new Cross Country Van, pulled by a 75 Series Cruiser diesel ute. The trip started at the Sunshine Coast on 9.6.04, up the coast as far as Cairns across the Savannah Way to Karumba and then down through the centre of Qld., Longreach, Emerald, Roma, Chinchilla, Dalby and then across to the coast home.
All up a distance of about 7000ks. was completed and the van and ute, although heavy, performed fantastic. We averaged about 5kl/ltr and had a wonderful time with a number of off-road camps. The solar power, big 230litre fridge, washing machine and all other aspects of the van performed great.
During the trip we came into contact with a number of other Kedron owners, and all apart from one (who appeared to be a professional whinger), raved about their vans, as did we.
There are a large number of people on the roads with vans travelling this great country of ours, but two things that I did notice that did disturb me, being a bushy, was the amount of people towing big vans with underpowered vehicles not suited for the terrain, and with no communication radio contact. Perhaps the dealers could assist these people when they are purchasing their vans about these things.
On our return, I contacted the factory and booked the van in to have a couple of minor problems rectified and to also put a third water tank under as we did find that off road, two tanks was not enough. Barry, all these maters were completed by your boys and other staff members in a most professional, but very friendly manner, and to our satisfaction. We have owned a number of other vans over the past 15 years, but none can come anywhere near the Kedron Cross Country. The build quality and friendly service, both whilst purchasing and after sales has been second to none.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to any other tips and future destinations advice in the future. PS Keep David out of the boxing ring and kids motor bikes.
All the best for the future.
